Small tests ambient with a simple base render, and then a Photoshop retouching for textures and lights

I did not know what I wanted before starting the render, but ultimately the atmosphere and the colors came alone.

But I always wonder what little there be behind that door, and why I am here...

used maya+mental ray for simple mod and base render, then photoshop for final image
